ASPIRE (Academic Summer Program Including Recreation and Education) is an equity based program designed to help students continue to grow as learners throughout the summer.
ASPIRE makes learning fun by offering participants a day camp experience full of various educational games and hands on learning. A high energy team of Instructors, who are enrolled in the Faculty of Education, lead participants in activities designed to build skills in math, reading, writing, problem solving and social experiences.
For the summer of 2022, approximately 260 students in grades 1-6 from select schools in LRSD will participate in ASPIRE for 4 weeks of summer learning and fun! This year’s participating schools include Archwood, Frontenac, Hastings, Henri-Bergeron, Lavallee, Provencher, St. George, Varennes, Victor Mager and Victor Wyatt. There is no cost to families to participate in the program.
