Grad Dinner and Safe Grad tickets deadline has been extended to Saturday, May 25th at 11:30 pm. Please remember to also complete your Grad/Safe Grad forms and return to office by May 27th.

Attention Royals! Registration for the first ever, Flag Football tournament is up around the school today. Use the QR code to sign up your team of 5-7 players before Tuesday June 28 to compete, have fun AND earn a Phys Ed block. The team fee of $20 will be collected to support Safe Grad. Payment can be made to Mrs. Allan in room 30 (CIP room) by June 28th. We look forward to participating in this exciting event with you on Monday June 3. If you have any questions, message Joel Johnson in Teams, or see Mrs. Allan in room 30.

Youth Employment Services Manitoba are hosting an exciting, collaborative, and FREE Employment and Volunteer Resource Fair event on May 28th 2:30 – 6:30 pm at Windsor Park Library, coinciding with an early dismissal day. The event will offer:

•          Drop-in resume writing support (limited spots, first come first serve), resume reviews, and other employment resources.

•          Drop-in interview practice with RBC.

•          A comprehensive job board of local employment opportunities.

•          A volunteer opportunity board, and information about volunteering with Volunteer Manitoba.

•          Resources on how to work safely and other important information for young workers, with SAFE Workers of Tomorrow.

Don’t worry about dinner and join us in supporting the Community BBQ put on by our 2024 WPC Grads on Wed. May 22nd, 2024, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. $5.00 for a hot dog, chips and a drink. Raffle prizes and games. Everyone is welcome!

Reminder to all Grade 12 students that the WPC In-House Scholarship Application form is now open. The link has been sent to you through Teams and is available until June 3rd – no late applications accepted. Please continue to check your Teams on a regular basis for important graduation related information and see Ms. Mauws with any questions. 

The annual LRSD Graduation Pow Wow will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at Dakota Collegiate. This is an opportunity for LRSD students, staff, families, and community members to celebrate its graduating students’ achievements and honour Indigenous culture. If you are a Grade 12 graduating student interested in participating, please send Ms. Mauws your name today. 

The Ukrainian egg painting workshop today at lunch has unfortunately been canceled. Tomorrow at lunch come to the art room to learn about different Asian Cultures for Wisdom Wednesday.
