Today at lunch there will be Cultural Trivia happening in the art room! Come test your knowledge on different cultures around the world! There will be prizes for winners!

"Attention all WPC athletes! Basketball and volleyball uniforms must be returned to Phys. Ed. staff as soon as possible. If not, fee's to replace these missing uniforms will be added to your online accounts."

Youth Employment Services Manitoba are hosting an exciting, collaborative, and FREE Employment and Volunteer Resource Fair event on May 28th 2:30 – 6:30 pm at Windsor Park Library, coinciding with an early dismissal day. The event will offer:

•          Drop-in resume writing support (limited spots, first come first serve), resume reviews, and other employment resources;

•          Drop-in interview practice with RBC;

•          A comprehensive job board of local employment opportunities;

•          A volunteer opportunity board, and information about volunteering with Volunteer Manitoba;

•          Resources on how to work safely and other important information for young workers, with SAFE Workers of Tomorrow.

Attention Royals! Get ready to show off your football skills at WPC’s first ever flag football tournament! It's time to gather your teams of 5-7 athletes, lace up your shoes, and compete for glory on the field. Mark your calendars, the tournament will take place on Monday June 3rd on the Winakwa Field’s. Posters for sign-up will be up later this week. Don't miss out on this exciting event filled with fun, competition, AND an opportunity to earn a Phys Ed Block. Stay tuned for further details.

Save the date! Next Wednesday, May 22nd is the WPC Community BBQ from 4:00-7:00pm. There will be food, raffle prizes, music, yard games and your chance to purchase your 50/50 tickets. $5.00 for a hot dog, chips and a drink. The BBQ will take place on the WPC field. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!

The annual LRSD Graduation Pow Wow will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at Dakota Collegiate. This is an opportunity for LRSD students, staff, families, and community members to celebrate its graduating students’ achievements and honour Indigenous culture. If you are a Grade 12 graduating student interested in participating, please send Ms. Mauws your name today. 

This is the last week to purchase Grad Dinner and Safe Grad tickets and deadline is May 25th at 11:30 pm. Please remember to complete your Grad/Safe Grad forms and return to office by May 21st.
