Overview

Programs and services are developed with community voice and changing needs in mind.

The René Deleurme Centre is a hub where community members can access supports, services, learning opportunities, community activities, and Community Kitchen supports.

Programs and Services

  • Adult learning and skill-building opportunities
  • Community clinics (vision care, flu, tax, dental health, EIA, Service Manitoba, francophone services)
  • Training programs including First Aid and Food Handler Certification (when offered)
  • Indigenous cultural programming (Full Moon Ceremonies, Beading & Breakfast, traditional teachings)
  • ASPIRE: summer learning and recreation opportunities for students
  • Settlement Program: newcomer support, referrals, and community connection

Food Security Supports

  • Food Depot: free bread and potatoes every Thursday at noon
  • Fresh Food Box: fresh produce, milk, and eggs for $20
  • Emergency Food Hampers: available by call, email, or walk-in
  • Community Kitchen meals, food distribution, and volunteer opportunities

Other Supports

  • Free coffee and tea
  • Phone, computer, Wi-Fi, and printing access
  • Clothing closet
