Welcome to Dakota Collegiate's Website
Dakota Collegiate is a Grade 9–12 high school located in the suburb of St. Vital in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is the largest high school in the Louis Riel School Division with a population of about 1,250 students.
Parents can access the student tab to access daily announcements by logging on. Parents must use their son or daughters user ID and password to log on to the website.
Rotary Career Symposium for Grade 10 students
All grade 10 students will be attending the Rotary Career Symposium at the Convention Centre on Wednesday, April 7. An information package will be distributed to students on March 12. The admission cost of $2.00 and the field trip form must be returned to the main office by Friday, March 26.
Families must arrange transportation. Many students travel with friends by Transit. Students must arrive at the Convention Centre by 9:00 and register with Dakota staff. After attending the symposium they are expected to return to school for D slot classes at 1:15.

If you are new to our area, you can determine which high school you will attend by using the school locator link or by calling your local school. All questions about registration for next year should be directed to Mr. Ross Cathers, Vice-Principal at Dakota Collegiate.
For new registrations, please contact the school at 256-4366 to make an appointment. A parent must accompany the student. Please bring two pieces of identification showing your address and your Manitoba Health card. Students going into grades 10-12 will need a transcript from his/her previous school. Students going into grade 9 will need to bring a June report card from grade 8. Our fax number is 257-4347.
