Open House 2024

Our Open House will be on Thursday, February 22 at 7pm. All are welcome.

Course Info for Prospective Grade 9 Students

In February, registration documents will be sent home to all students who attend our catchment schools:

Note: Students who are new to the area will need to contact the office to arrange an intake meeting with the administrative staff.

Grade 9 Compulsory Courses

The following six courses indicate the compulsory courses for Grade 9 students entering Dakota Collegiate: English 10F, Math 10F, Social Studies 10F, Science 10F, Physical Education 10F and Lancer 360. More information and descriptions are available in our online course handbook.

Grade 9 Elective Courses

The remaining two courses that complement the compulsory courses are electives. Students are asked to choose two plus two alternates and rank the choices (1-4). A full elective list is available in the online course handbook.

Course Info for Prospective Grade 10-12 Students

This information is to give future grade 10, 11, and 12 students who will be attending Dakota Collegiate next school year some advance information prior to completing their registration for courses. Students and parents are asked to read over this site very carefully in order to learn about courses, programs, procedures, and expectations.

Supplementing this information is a credit check that will help students and parents make an educational plan that that will help students reach their personal goals.
