Kindergarten Registration for September 2010

The start of the 2010–2011 school year is months away, but Kindergarten Registration is approaching. Parents are welcome to stop by their child’s school during Kindergarten Registration Week, March 22–26. Parents unable to drop in during the week day should call their child’s designated school to assist the registration process. Parents are also encouraged to attend information meetings conducted at both English language or French language schools in their neighbourhoods:

• March 9 at 7:00 p.m. for English Schools
• March 10 at 7:00 p.m. for French Immersion Schools

If you are unsure of which designated school your child will attend, be it English or French, please call the Louis Riel School Division Board Office at 257-7827 or use our School Locator to learn more. To be eligible to register for Kindergarten in any school year, children must celebrate their fifth birthday by December 31 of that school year.
