Public Board Meeting Highlights - May 21, 2024

The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:42 p.m. 

The School and Classroom Support Team gave a presentation to the board. 

The Secretary-Treasurer provided the third quarter financial update. 

Board motions approved several administrative staff appointments.      

The Chair referenced a letter sent to the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning dated May 14.   

The board received information on a capital project update specific to École Sage Creek Bonavista, an enrolment report, the leadership team meeting, a request for a balanced school day at École Julie-Riel, and the communications metrics for April. 

The board reviewed edits to the Administrative Protocol supporting Policy AC – Respect for Human Diversity.  

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m. 

Official minutes will be posted once approved by the Board. 

The next regular meeting of the Board is June 4, 2024. The agenda will be published at www.lrsd.net on May 31.
