Students wishing to study Introduction to Calculus 45S/Advanced Math 45S should have a mark of at least 85% in Pre-Calculus Math 40S.Strong math students with a desire to study Introduction to Calculus 45S/Advanced Math 45S should follow this timetable (three options below):OPTION 1: OPTION 2: OPTION 3:Grade 9: M10F M10F M10FGrade 10: MAPC20S and MPC30SMAPC20SMAPC20S Grade 11: MPC40S MPC30S and MPC40S MPC30SGrade 12:MIC45S/MAD45S MIC45S/MAD45SMPC40S and MIC45S/MAD45S Students take the course at Dakota Collegiate, but write the university midterm exam and final exam at the University of Manitoba.Upon successful completion students will receive one full high school credit as well as one half university credit (3 credit hours) from University of Manitoba.
