New Resources Help Make LRSD’s Learning and Progress More Visible
The Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) is pleased to share two new resources that provide different but complementary views of our work: the 2025-2026 Annual Report to the Community (ARC) and the redesigned Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP) Dashboard. Together, they offer a picture of where we are, what we are learning, and how we are working toward the commitments outlined in the MYSP 2023-2027.
The Annual Report to the Community highlights stories from across LRSD, showcasing the creativity, care, leadership, and learning that take place every day in our schools, workplaces, and communities. Through the voices and experiences of students, staff, families, and partners, the ARC reflects on the 2025-2026 school year and celebrates the many people who help learners thrive and communities flourish.
The redesigned MYSP Dashboard complements those stories by providing a public view of the division's 25 strategic actions. Rather than simply reporting activity, the dashboard is designed to support transparency, reflection, and informed discussion. It helps students, staff, families, trustees, and community members see where actions are emerging, developing, or becoming more deeply embedded across the division. It also highlights evidence, identifies areas of growth, and acknowledges where questions and opportunities remain.
This work comes at an important moment in LRSD's journey. The 2025-2026 school year marks the third Annual Report to the Community within the current MYSP cycle and the division's continued effort to strengthen public accountability through evidence, reflection, and shared learning. The dashboard is intended to help make that work easier to see, understand, and discuss.
The development of both resources benefited from the contributions of many people across the division. Special thanks go to staff who reviewed content, provided feedback, challenged assumptions, identified gaps, and helped improve clarity and accessibility. The final products are stronger because they reflect collective thinking and shared commitment.
As LRSD prepares for the final year of the current MYSP and begins to look toward the future, these resources serve as both a reflection on the work completed and an invitation to remain engaged in the work ahead.
