Seniors' Day 2008

On May 6, 2008 over 250 Seniors joined us at Shamrock for Seniors' Day.  Grandparents and Senior friends and relatives came to visit and spend time with students during the school day.  Our visitors got to participate in classroom activities, have a small recess snack and go outside for recess with their student partner.  Thank you to all of our visitors who came out and made this day special.

Homes Wanted!

The Phys. Ed. department at Shamrock is looking for 75 homes in the area that are willing to place a number in their front window during the first week of June for the Family Bingo Hunt.  Front windows need to be easily seen from the street, and no one should need to enter your property.  If you or your neighour(s) can assist with this, please contact Mr. Cook at Shamrock with your name, street number and street name.

Important dates to remember:

• May 12th:    PAC meeting (6:30) and Drug Awareness Presentation (7:30)
• May 16th:    Orff Day - grade four 
• May 19th:    Victoria Day - no school
• May 21st:    Folk Dance in the Park
• May 27th:    Early Dismissal (staff meeting)
