Welcome to Darwin School's Website

Darwin is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school with 212 students, 30 staff members, and a number of student teachers. Our catchment consists of a mix of single and multiple family dwellings. Darwin School houses an Industrial Arts and Human Ecology facilities for Grades 7 & 8 students from across the Division.

Childcare Program at Darwin

Did you know that the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg has a child care centre in our school? We offer kinder pm, and before and after school child care for children aged 5-12yrs. The Darwin YMCA-YWCA program offers a variety of activities in an engaging, dynamic setting.

Ongoing registration is accepted for the current school year.  If you would like further information on the Darwin YMCA-YWCA child care program please contact the Supervisor, Candice Willner, at (204) 255-5116 or darwin@ymcaywca.mb.ca.

Kindergarten Registration 2013

Registrations for Kindergarten 2013-14 are now being accepted.  Please drop by our office during school hours.  Remember to bring a birth certificate or proof of citizenship status as well as proof of residency.
