Have a Safe and Happy Summer!
Click here for more information on the new "Collaborative Wednesdays" starting on September 10th. Please note that this does not replace the once a month Early Dismissal Tuesdays.
This has been yet another exciting year in the Louis Riel School Division. At this time, we wish to share with you an “Interim Report to the Community” – a sampling of the tireless work happening in Louis Riel School Division to better educate our students and children.
This report includes work being done in our schools to meet the Division’s three priorities, an update on our new school in Sage Creek, and how we’re being wise with your tax dollars while meeting community needs.
We invite you to look forward to our full “Annual Report to the Community” that will be shared in the fall of 2014. In the fall report, we will share qualitative data to demonstrate the progress that we’ve made in the 2013-14 school year.
We hope you enjoy this report and welcome your feedback as the 2013-14 school year enters its final stretch.

Collège Jeanne-Sauvé is a French Immersion high school in the Louis Riel School Division. Its program provides students with opportunities to reach their potential and strive for excellence while further enhancing their second language learning. French Immersion is a highly successful approach to second language learning. Students in French Immersion achieve linguistic competence in French and English, while achieving all of the educational and social outcomes of an English program.
In 2005 Collège Jeanne-Sauvé was honoured by its acceptance into the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) National level. We are very pleased to be part of something that anchors our beliefs and practices: our commitment, as a UNESCO school, is to educate for a future that is hopeful and relevant. Feel free to browse through the UNESCO pamphlet, the echarter and the 4 UNESCO pillars to learn more.
