Windsor Park Collegiate Invites You and Your Family to Celebrate the Class of 2026!
As we approach this year’s convocation and graduation activities, we are filled with pride and admiration for the hard work, resilience, and growth our students have shown throughout their high school journey. Graduation is a time to celebrate accomplishments, reflect on challenges overcome, and look ahead with excitement to the opportunities that await. We are honored to share this milestone with our students, their families, and the school community.
Below is a timeline and the details that graduates, friends and families need to ensure that the events run smoothly. Please note that there are deadlines and requirements that need to be met to ensure the safety and happiness of our school community. If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
We look forward to celebrating this special moment together and recognizing the dedication and achievements of our graduates. We can’t wait to gather as a community to honour their success and wish them well in the future.

Grad Fees:
You will need to make sure your fees have all been “paid in full”. This will ensure you have access to the upcoming events like Graduation Photos, Grad Gowns, and so much more. Parents and guardians can access the Parent Portal to find out if this is done or call the office to check.
Grad Photos:
Edge Imaging will be here from Feb 9-13th, 2026 to take graduation photos! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to be featured in the class composite and leave your legacy in the hallways of the school for years to come. Sessions must be booked to occur during your spare, not during your class time. All graduating students must ensure that all school fees have been paid, including the 25/26 grad fee as this includes your sitting fee for your grad photos. (please note - February 12th will be a SAGE Schedule Day)
Sign up for your photo appointment using our school code WPG at bookmygrad.ca.

Convocation Quips:
All students in Grade 12 are required to submit and record a Convocation Quip to be read at Convocation as you walk the “stage area”. This statement represents who you are and lets your family, friends, and teachers know what your plans are, what you are grateful for, you can thank those who helped you, and describe how happy you are to graduate!
If you chose to not participate, one will be written for you that is generic, “(name) would like to thank their family and friends.”
Your ELA teacher and our teacher librarian will help you compose and record these Quips depending on what term you have ELA. These quips will be approved by Administration before they are read to an audience.
Graduation SAGE Day : (This is mandatory for all graduates.)

General information will be given about all Graduation Events. Students will be asked to fill out a form that will ask the following things:

WPC In-House Scholarships:
There are several scholarship opportunities for all WPC Grads and many scholarships available are based on criteria other than good marks. A Scholarship Forms Survey will be sent out in the middle of April and must be completed by May 15 to be included in the deliberation of our WPC In-House scholarships.
You MUST complete a survey to qualify.
Valedictorian Process
A valedictorian is a graduating student who is often recognized for consistent personal excellence and strong commitment to learning. When choosing a valedictorian, schools may look at such things as leadership, character, or contributions to the school community. The goal is to select a student who not only excels academically but also represents the values and spirit of the graduating class. It is their job to represent the graduating class and to say farewell to this era of their lives.
A valedictorian at WPC is nominated by peers and staff. Students and staff will have a chance to nominate a person through a forms survey. After Spring Break, finalists will be chosen to present a speech to a staff panel in mid-May. This panel of teachers will choose a Valedictorian by the end of May.
Safe Grad Parents Committee: (Optional, but guardians, please consider joining)
Currently, we have parents who meet on a regular basis to help organize and plan the Graduation Safe Grad. Please contact the office if you would like to help out.
