The Manitoba Marathon needs volunteers on Sat., June 20. So, grab a friend and help out at the 2026 Manitoba Marathon. See Ms. Boyer or Ms. Cook for more information.
Reminder to all students to only use the West Entrance (parking lot doors) to enter the building. Do not open any locked doors to let anyone inside the building and when exiting the building do not allow someone to enter. Please ask them to enter through the West Entrance as per the signs.
Students who drive are not allowed to park in WPC parking lots, visitor spots or in student drop-off locations. Do not park in the nearby strip mall lot, the Winaka Community Club or along the back lane by the baseball diamond, as you will be ticketed or towed at your expense. Students must park on residential side streets only.
Reminder to parents and guardians to sign up for SchoolCash (all school fees have been entered and need to be paid), Safe Arrival (to report child’s absences), or to create a Parent Portal account, click on this link and then choose from the menu on the left-hand side: https://www.lrsd.net/page/5117/sign-in-help-support-information
Parents and guardians, please remember to call the Attendance line, 204-256-2477, when your student will be absent from school (illness, appointments, etc.).
We are asking families not to use the East or West staff parking lots, the West back lane, or Cottonwood Road for student drop-off and pick-up, as these areas pose safety and traffic concerns. Instead, please use side streets for quick and safe drop-offs and pick-ups. These measures help ensure student safety and smoother traffic flow around the school. The school appreciates everyone’s cooperation and understanding in keeping all students safe.
Due to divisional safety rules, all visitors to WPC, including parents and guardians, must check in at the office before proceeding elsewhere in the building.
