On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Leeanna Rook as Vice-Principal of École St. Germain, effective Aug. 1, 2026. The Board of Trustees confirmed her appointment at the Jan. 27, 2026, Regular Board Meeting.
Leeanna brings extensive experience in French Immersion education and a demonstrated commitment to literacy, student well-being, and collaborative school leadership. Currently serving as a Second Languages Consultant with Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, she has supported K–8 French Immersion teachers through coaching, modeling, and collaborative planning, with a strong focus on early literacy and structured writing instruction.
Her teaching career spans over several years and two provinces, with expertise in early years education (Kindergarten to Grade 2) and music education (K–7). She has worked as a classroom teacher, music specialist, and teacher-librarian, designing and implementing engaging, inclusive, and linguistically rich learning experiences. Leeanna’s experience in both generalist and specialist roles as well as divisional consultant has strengthened her ability to support school teams with practical, research-informed strategies that foster student learning and well-being.
