  • Weekly reminder for September 18-22nd

    Good afternoon ESG families,

Please note our weekly reminders for the week of September 18-22nd

    First Assembly/Terry Fox School walk

This morning, we had our first school assembly. It was nice to see all of our students together as a community.  We also launched our annual fundraiser for the Terry Fox Foundation.   Classes will challenge each other for the most money raised. Classes will earn a draw ticket for every $5 raised.  The winning class will have a pyjama day and a fun gym activity with M. Johnson and Mme Sabourin.  See the attached poster.

No school – Tuesday, October 3

Please note that there’s no school on Tuesday, October 3rd.  Schools will be closed for the Provincial elections and a professional development day.  There will be regular classes on Monday, October 2nd.

    ESG Parent Advisory Council meeting

The ESG Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will be holding their first monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 20 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.  This will be a virtual meeting over TEAMS.  All parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about what PAC does and what is being planned for the upcoming academic year. Those not already signed up for the ESGPAC distribution list should email ESGPAC@gmail.com to get the meeting link. PAC is also looking for a parent to volunteer in the position of Vice Chair.  This parent would ideally be willing to make a 3 year commitment in order to become Chair, and then Past Chair in following years.  If you are interested in supporting your child's school and have a child/children in grade K-3, then you would be ideal for this position.  Please reach out to Shauna (PAC Chair) at ESGPAC@gmail.com for more information."

    Cutlery

A reminder, if needed, to please pack cutlery with your child’s lunch.  Biodegradable cutlery can now be purchased at our canteen for .25c/each.
