Parent Advisory Council - PAC

The Shamrock Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is open to all parents of Shamrock students. As a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, we promote inclusion and respectful collaboration in order to improve the school environment for our Shamrock students and staff. This includes fundraising to enhance the overall student experience with learning opportunities, classroom support, playground enhancements and school improvements. We strive to provide timely communication with our parents and community members. 

The Shamrock PAC is always looking for more members. If you want to know more about what is going on at the school and have some time and/or ideas to contribute about how we can shape and benefit the school, we encourage you to attend a meeting or send us an email (shamrockspac@gmail.com).

Current PAC Fundraisers and Projects

Fun Lunch Program 

Fun lunches are organized each month to bring a hot lunch option into the school for students and staff. We are always looking for fun lunch volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or want to get involved, please contact us.

Fundraisers 

Glenlea is currently open for orders, delivery is May 7th, 2026

Your support with these initiatives allowed us to provide money for each classroom to enhance your child's learning!


Community Events

Shamrock PAC plans a number of community events throughout the year including:

  • Family Movie Night
  • Halloween Dance
  • Shamrock Shake School Dance
  • Scholastic Book Fair

Babysitting Course for Shamrock Students

Shamrock PAC will be coordinating a babysitting course at the school for interested grade seven and eight students on April 10th, 2026, it is currently full.

PAC Meetings

PAC regular meetings are usually held on the 1st Monday of the month, at 7:00 p.m. All Shamrock parents and guardians are welcome to join.
