Students in grade 5-6 immersion are now collecting new wool and cotton adult sized socks for Main Street Project's Socktober initiative. There are now bins throughout the school where students can leave their sock donations. Please note that we are collecting the new socks until Friday, October 29th. Our school's goal is to collect one pair of socks for each student and staff member at ÉSCS which would mean 775 new pairs of socks for people in need! With this recent colder weather, we hope that you will help encourage your child to show their generosity by helping those in need. We also want to commend our Grade 5&6 students and their teachers for demonstrating citizenship and generosity by organizing this important initiative.
