What a joyful afternoon for all of our students and staff, as each cohort paraded past Manoir Cathédrale and Villa Aulneau to spread some holiday joy. We heard comments from our students such as 'This is the best day since Covid started!' and 'Can we do this again next year?' We were fortunate to have Constable Minkus with us to help with safety and play music for the students from her police car.
Our students did their best to physically distance as we walked, all adults wore masks, and each class stayed together during our adventure to remain mindful of the current restrictions.

We hope that the residents of both of our neighbourhood seniors homes understand that seeing them today warmed our hearts as much as the students hopefully warmed theirs, and that we are truly thinking of them during this difficult holiday season. We hope that the 320 cards that were prepared by our students last week and delivered yesterday brought these seniors a few smiles as well.

There were many of our staff members that shed a few tears today seeing our neighbours and thinking of how many families are being challenged like never before this holiday season. Today was a very emotional yet uplifting day for all of us at École Provencher. Joyeuses Fêtes et bonne et heureuse année 2021.
