Who We Are

Island Lakes Community School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in the neighbourhood of Island Lakes in the South-West corner of Winnipeg.

Our Mission

Our Beliefs

  • To do our best.

One of Island Lakes’ greatest strengths is the tremendous involvement of parents and families in every aspect of school life.

While strolling by the school this summer, you may notice the beautiful flowers and gardens in our outdoor classroom. Huge thanks goes out to Reimer Soils for all the mulch and Superstore on St. Anne’s for all the soil, seeds and plants.
