If you read, write and speak in a language other than English or French, you can earn a maximum of four high school credits by writing the Special Language Credit Option Examinations. The Louis Riel School Division offers these exams twice during the school year: a Fall Session and a Spring Session.
The Special Language Credit exams this fall are CANCELLED to maintain the safety and well-being of the community.
The Special Language Credit exams for the spring of 2021 are TENTATIVELY scheduled for March 22 & 23.
- All exams are written at 6:00 p.m. at Dakota Collegiate, 661 Dakota Street, Winnipeg.
- All applicants from schools outside the Louis Riel School Division must pay a $65.00 examination fee. This fee must also be paid by International Students enrolled in LRSD. Applications are not complete until the fee has been received. Make your cheque payable to Louis Riel School Division and forward it to Dakota Collegiate, 661 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB R2M 3K3, Attention: Lee-Ann Chouinard.
- An email confirming time and location will be sent to your school after all applications have been processed.
