Who We Are

Collège Béliveau is a Grade 7 to Grade 12 French Immersion school with 42 teachers serving 586 students. Our school is unique in North America in that it was the first to offer a High School French Immersion program in a totally French milieu. All of our courses are taught en Français except for the English Language Arts program.

Mission Statement

La communauté du Collège Béliveau a comme but l'apprentissage en français tout en enrichissant la société de citoyens autonomes, respectueux, responsables et engagés. Elle offre un milieu de vie qui favorise le développement personnel et professionnel de tous ses membres.

Collège Béliveau promotes learning en français while enriching our community with independent, respectful, responsible and engaged citizens. Our learning community offers an environment that promotes professional and personal learning for all its members.

Academics

Collège Béliveau has a long tradition of excellence in academics as we strive towards developing our students’ 21st Century Learning skills - collaboration, communication, citizenship, creativity, problem solving and analytical thinking.

Sports

Over those years, Collège Béliveau has also developed an extensive and competitive athletic program ranging from track and field to ice hockey for all grade levels.

Lifelong Learning

We also provide other learning opportunities and invaluable life experiences to further develop and enhance their second and third language skills. These activities include camping excursions and trips to Québec, France and Spain, the production of original musical comedies and participation in our well established Arts and Music programs.

Citizenship

Collège Béliveau is continuously working towards increasing social awareness of issues that affect our local and global communities.  To that end, our Social Justice Committee, our team of Volunteers and our Youth Alliance Committee work together to support human diversity and to help those less fortunate.

Outdoor Education students are keeping busy by researching, preparing, and testing 2 different homemade firestarters. Firestarters simplify the campfire process by ensuring a flame even in the worst conditions. Check out some of their videos here. https://t.co/7yeBGObsMv
