b'BUILDING TRADESPROGRAM DESCRIPTIONDo you like working with your hands? A Cooperative Vocational Education (CVE) program, students (minimum 16 years old) spend one day per week in a classroom learning essential construction theory and four days per week receiving hands-on instruction with a contractor. Students may experience building construction trades in carpentry, concrete, flooring, renovating, heating/HVAC, plumbing, painting, cabinet-making and other areas that will prepare them for employment, apprenticeship or further education. WORK PRACTICUM COURSES Students will complete 375 hours of on the job training with a contractor.Students will have a wide variety of work PART 1 options to choose from, dependent upon the availability of construction sites.
