Ryan Palmquist

Ryan Palmquist is the Louis Riel School Division Trustee for Ward 3, first elected in 2022. He formerly served as the Managing Director of Save Our Seine River Environment Inc., a non-for-profit organization in southeast Winnipeg. He now works as the Associate Director of Street Links.

Prior to 2022, he worked for eight years as the Executive Assistant to Matt Allard, St. Boniface City Councilor, where he performed a wide range of duties from direct customer service to policy development, and political advising. 

Ryan is a passionate environmentalist, active community member, and volunteer. He is an avid commuter and recreational cyclist, a lifelong amateur curler, and video essay nerd.

He currently resides in St. Vital with wife Meghan Waters, stepson Félix, son Léon, and daughter Hypatia.
