We [I] would like to acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory , the traditional land the of Anishinaabe, Ininewak, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.

We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration. We also acknowledge that we receive our water from Shoal Lake, Treaty 3 Territory which nourishes our body and feeds our lives.

About Morrow Early Learning and Child Development

Morrow Early Learning and Child Development at René Deleurme Site offers child care for infant, toddler and preschool children who live in the communities/catchment areas of René Deleurme Centre, Lavallee, Victor H. L. Wyatt and Victor Mager Schools

René Deleurme Centre site follows the Abecedarian Approach which uses language as the core of early learning and child development. The centre is staffed by Early

Childhood Educators who provide individualized, relationship-based care that focuses on each child’s individual development. Early Childhood Educators provide respectful, responsive, reciprocal relationships in order to enhance children’s language. Strong language skills allow for greater cognitive and social/emotional development.
