The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
The Chair confirmed that the Manitoba School Boards Association will hold its fall professional development and regional meetings on Nov. 25 and 26.
Secretary-Treasurer Rudnicki provided a report regarding trustee professional development for the 2025-2026 school year.
Amarbeer Bhandari, Facilities Director, updated the Board on the status of the following capital projects:
- Shamrock School
- Windsor Park Collegiate
- J.H. Bruns Collegiate
- Dakota Collegiate
- Lavallee School
- École Mazina-Giizhik
The Board received updates on the French language teacher pilot, Indigenous Language Immersion weekend program, Superintendent Connell’s school visits to date, and Swim Safe program.
The Board ratified Policy GCC-GDC Teacher and Non-teaching Leaves – Weather Related.
The Board recorded correspondence as being received.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:12 p.m.
