The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Information from the Board retreat was shared.
The Chair provided information on Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Regions 5/6 meeting, the Manitoba Band Association of the Year Award, the partnership with St. Vital Museum, and conversations with Winnipeg City Councillors Brian Mayes, Matt Allard, and Marcus Chambers.
The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) provided the Board with information on:
- Capital projects
- 2024-2025 K-12 Continuous Improvement Report
- 5th Annual Data Analytics for The Public Sector Summit
- Working with Google
- School of choice report
- Accessibility plan update
- Supporting the Right to Read in Manitoba report
Policy GBEBB- Staff Interactions with Students, and administrative protocols received first reading.
Correspondence was recorded as being received.
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:02 p.m.
