    Ryan Palmquist is the Louis Riel School Division Trustee for Ward 3, first election in 2022. He also serves as the Managing Director of Save Our Seine River Environment Inc., a non-for-profit organization in southeast Winnipeg.

    Prior to 2022, he worked for eight years as the Executive Assistant to Matt Allard, St. Boniface City Councilor, where he performed a wide range of duties from direct customer service to policy development, and political advising. 

    Ryan is a passionate environmentalist, active community member, and volunteer. He is an avid commuter and recreational cyclist, a lifelong amateur curler, and video essay nerd.

    He currently resides in St. Vital with wife Meghan Waters, stepson Félix, son Léon, and daughter Hypatia.
