Grab your dice and prepare for adventure—CJS Tabletop is going live.
On April 28, members of the CJS Tabletop club will be getting underway with Let’s Roll Some Dice, a Dungeons & Dragons livestream on Twitch that invites viewers into the streets of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. Expect mystery, danger, dramatic character moments—and plenty of dice-induced chaos.
CJS Tabletop is a student club dedicated to tabletop role-playing games, and this live stream is one of their biggest adventures yet. Bringing together imaginative students, original characters, and fast‑moving improvisation, the campaign promises a high‑energy blend of storytelling and suspense, where even the best plans can fall apart with a single roll.
Guiding the party through Waterdeep’s sprawling cityscape is Grade 12 student Alex Shave, a first‑time Dungeon Master who is more than ready to keep his players guessing. Described as a place where you have to watch out for everything, the city of Waterdeep offers danger around every corner—and Shave admits he’s pretty excited to “torture” his party along the way.
The adventuring party itself is stacked full of imaginative characters. Morgan Poole plays Twig, a Tabaxi Ranger whose childhood snack mishap landed her in the magical feywild, leaving her to paw her way through life (and yes, that paw is literal). Alex Dobwyhuz joins as Remus, a kind‑hearted Human Druid and healer determined to complete the campaign without taking a single life—an ambitious goal in a city full of criminals.
Ashley Boon‑Groening plays Tiama Lemont, a quietly intense Drow Monk with a tragic past, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep fear of fire. Leighton Linstead brings charm and wit as Nipsy Wizbolt, a Rock Gnome Sorcerer and urban bounty hunter who would much rather talk her way out of trouble than blast her enemies into submission.
Rounding out the party, Praise Agboje stars as Duke, a heavily armoured Paladin on a personal quest to find his missing parents while delivering swift justice to evildoers. V Reece steps into the role of Onyx Larue, a stern Dhampir Warlock whose intense devotion sometimes clashes with the realities of basic social interaction. Caleb Caparas completes the lineup as Klaxon Syloof, a competitive and impulsive Dragonborn Bard whose love of adventure was sparked by competition with a childhood friend.
Keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky for videos introductions of our DM and players.
While the dice rolls may decide their fates, the students say the heart of the show is community. Morgan and Praise point to the welcoming friendships built through CJS Tabletop, while Ashley and V highlight the thrill of collaborative acting and stepping into another world. For Leighton, Let’s Roll Some Dice is a chance to show just how fun D&D can be.
