Powwow Club is a joyful and inclusive space where students, families, and community members come together to celebrate Indigenous culture through storytelling, games, language learning, and dance. Each session is supported by volunteers who help create a welcoming and enriching experience for all.
Sessions run on select Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the René Deleurme Centre. The scheduled dates for the remaining sessions are as follows:
- Dec. 3, 2025
- Jan. 14 & 28, 2026
- Feb. 11 & 25, 2026
- March 11, 2026
- April 15 & 29, 2026

We will provide a light snack for participants and caregivers during the sessions.
Please note that Regalia making will not be conducted during these sessions to allow participants and caregivers to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Separate sessions for Regalia making will be organized at different times and locations, both during the day and in the evenings.
We appreciate your ongoing support for the success of the LRSD Powwow Club. If you have any questions or require clarification, please do not hesitate to contact Tammy Bruce at tammy.bruce@lrsd.net.
