The Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) is proud to celebrate Linda Sander, who was recently recognized with the Manitoba Association of School Psychologists (MASP) Award of Excellence.
Presented at the May 2026 MASP Annual General Meeting, the award recognizes Linda Sander’s outstanding contributions to school psychology, mentorship, and clinician development across Manitoba.
A school psychologist with LRSD, Linda Sander is known for her deep commitment to students, colleagues, and the profession. Her career spans more than a decade in education, including teaching, resource support, and guidance counselling before transitioning into school psychology.
Throughout her career, Linda Sander has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentorship. She has supported the development of new psychologists both within and beyond LRSD, serving as a supervisor for graduate students and early-career clinicians across Manitoba. Her work with the University of Manitoba has included teaching graduate courses and providing practicum supervision, where she is known for her thoughtful feedback and dedication to student growth.
In her current role, Linda Sander conducts more than 40 psychoeducational assessments each year while supporting school teams across the division. Her work helps improve access to timely services and ensures students receive the supports they need to succeed.
Guided by a belief in the transformative impact of assessments and supports, Linda Sander continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families.
