The Louis Riel School Division School Board invites all interested community members to the annual Public Budget Consultation Meeting. This meeting is an opportunity for the Board to share initiatives happening within the Division, while giving the public an opportunity to share their educational budget priorities.
The Board's Community Connections and Finance & Audit standing committees have planned an informative and interactive evening. The public will first have an opportunity to learn about the Board's educational priorities and the important investments in the 2018-19 budget
that make priorities realities for students in LRSD.
- Corey Kapilik and the Indigenous Education Team will be making a presentation on Indigenous Programs.
- Steve Lawrie and the Student Support Services Team will be making a presentation on Mental Health Promotion.
The Board then will move into a presentation about School Board governance and the 2019–20 budget to frame a consultation with the community about its aspirations for our 15,503 curious and uniquely gifted learners.
