Arts and Technology Centre hosting annual Cure-a-thon

April 11, 2019

The Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre is hosting its annual Cure-a-thon, which is a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Many of us have been affected by cancer at some point in our lives and because of that, the Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre (ATC) is making this important fundraising event a division-wide initiative.
Cancer can be beaten, but it will take all of us working together.

This is ATC's 11th year hosting this event with more than $20,000 in funds raised to date.

This event will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and hosted in the ATC Salon.

Clients can book an appointment for a scalp massage or manicure or both for a tax deductible $10.00 donation for each service by calling 204-233-3754.

Our silent auction prizes include a $150.00 Spa Gift Certificate from Riverstone Spa and a $100.00 gas card from DOMO! Tickets for grand prize items are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Regular prize tickets are 15 for $5.00.

The draw for the silent auction will take place on Thursday, April 25th at 3:30 PM.

We will also be selling memory, support and survivor leaves for the tree of life. You can buy a leaf for $1.00 to support in finding a cure for cancer.

If you or someone you know can donate additional prizes for our silent auction, please contact the ATC office at 204-237-8951 and arrangements will be made to have the prize picked up.

Please come and join us for a great cause and a fantastic day!

RT @mrheilmann: Taking some time to get next years additions to the @glenwoodLRSD board game collection ready before the Summer Library opens. That’s a lot of sleeving, punching and sorting! Can’t wait to get these great titles out to the students! @louis_riel_sd @gametolearnmb https://t.co/vN1oT0ddZt

RT @sigurdson_chris: With all the noise on social media this is the real story that's gets shouted down. Real people caring for each other and their communities. I truly believe that, at heart, people are good. Let's celebrate it and spread these stories. https://t.co/7GgoBNN863
