The Memorial Round Dance on May 13, 2026, brings the LRSD community together in remembrance of Kookum Hilda Kentiban, honouring her life through ceremony, song, and shared connection. The gathering reflects the strength of her legacy and the many lives she helped shape in the community.
With the Golden Eagle Singers leading the way and Kyle Copenace guiding the evening, the gathering honours Kookum Hilda for sharing her teachings, knowledge, guidance and generosity with community.
