Victor Mager Community School Program

Victor Mager participates in the Community School program. This initiative is aimed at our school to be a hub of information, but more importantly to be a safe and welcoming space for families! 

The school is a community-level hub that can be used to deliver the services, programs, and activities that students and their families can access.

Parents and community members can play an active part in the planning process for the school.

Who is our Community Team?

Danielle Hildebrand and Khanya Sibanda are your community workers. 

What can our Community Team do?

We can:

• Provide support to families with transportation, home visits, assist families to access community resources like dental care, vision care, medical care, counselling, household item, language classes, training.

Programs that are (or have run) through the Community Team

• Breakfast program, Koats for Kids, Harvest Manitoba, Grade 6 Babysitting Course, Volunteer Placements, Indigenous Programming, Newcomer Programming, Community Advisory Council, Big Brother Big Sister Mentorship Programming
