Staff Leaving Victor Mager School

We would like to thank the following staff members for their contributions to Victor Mager School and wish them all the best as they move on to other opportunities next year:

We would like to extend an extra special thank you to our vice-principal Mr. Jonathan Wolfe. Jonathan has led and served in the Victor Mager community for the last three years. Jonathan's kindness, caring, and dedication to staff, students, and families will be missed. We would like to wish him best of luck in his new leadership role as vice-principal at Nelson McIntyre Collegiate.

We would like to welcome and introduce our new vice-principal, Jonathan Burnham. Jonathan has been a vice-principal at Glenwood school this year. Jonathan is very excited to meet our students and families. Welcome to Victor Mager!

Student Progress Reports and Class Placement 

Progress reports for the final term will be posted on Friday, June 26. Your child’s assigned teacher for the 2026-2027 school year will be shared via email on Thursday, June 25. Below are instructions on how to access the report.

School Fees & Student Supplies

School fees will once again be set at $40.00 per student for the 2026-2027 school year. More information about payment of school fees will be provided in September. These fees will be used by the school to purchase supplies for our students. Please simply ensure that your child has a backpack, indoor running shoes, and a water bottle.  

Lunch Program

All K-8 students are welcome to stay for a supervised lunch. More information about the lunch program and associated fees will be sent to you in September.  

Summer Meals2Go

Please see attachment for information about summer Meals2Go. Drop-off is Fridays 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Last Day of School & Early Dismissal

Students will be dismissed early at 2:30 p.m. on their last day of school this Tuesday, June 30. 

School Office Closing/Opening

Our school office will be closed for the summer at the end of the school day on Tuesday, June 30. The office will reopen on Wednesday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Opening Day Conferences

Opening day conferences will take place at Victor Mager School on Wednesday, September 9. On this day, each student and their caregiver will have the opportunity to meet their classroom teacher for 15-20 minutes. There will not be regular classes scheduled on this day. More information about opening day conferences will be sent to you in late August.  

First Day Back

Regular classes for all students will resume on Thursday, September 10.
