Victor Mager Community School Program

Victor Mager participates in the Community School program. This initiative aims to make our school a hub of information and support for the community, but more importantly to be a safe and welcoming space for families! 

The community room is used to deliver the services, programs, and activities, that students and their families can access.

Who is our Community Team?

Danielle Hildebrand and Khanya Sibanda are our community workers.

What can our Community Team do?

They can:

Provide support to families with transportation, home visits, assist families to access community resources like dental care, vision care, medical care, counselling, provide household items, offer language classes, training. If you have a need, please connect. 

Programs that are (or have run) through the Community Team

Universal Nutrition Program, Conversation Circles, Koats for Kids, Harvest Manitoba, Meals2Go, Grade 6 Babysitting Course, Volunteer Placements, Indigenous Programming, Newcomer Programming, Community Circle Forum, Big Brother Big Sister Mentorship Programming, Sewing Classes, Cooking Programs.

Community Room Hours 

Our Community Room is open and welcoming to families.

9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

1:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
