Each year, as part of its March convention and AGM, the Manitoba School Boards Association designates a charity of choice to receive the proceeds of a silent auction. This year, a record-breaking $4,200—the largest amount ever raised at a single event—will benefit the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

Prizes for the auction are solicited from school boards across the province. This year, in addition to the professional products and services provided by the Louis Riel Arts & Tech Centre, three talented students from Glenlawn Collegiate donated unique, one-of-a-kind artworks.

We are incredibly grateful to Mercury, Karrigan, and Anna-Louise for their kindness and generosity. Members of the LRSD Board of Trustees in attendance were beaming with pride to see our students’ creativity and community spirit take center stage, proving that their contributions can make a monumental impact on the lives of others.GCI Artwork
