Outdoor Education at Fort Whyte Alive
The Grade 5-7's at Lavallee school recently got an opportunity to connect with nature and learn about our shared environment and history. The students got a chance to get outside and get active with engaging winter activities such as snowshoeing, tobogganing and a fur trading activity. Some of the highlights of the day include making snow taffy and participating in Voyageur games. The students bundled up warm and braved the cold as they got to enjoy lots of team building, new challenges and having fun!
