  • Combining History & Technoloy

Combining technology and history together, M. Siaux`s class reproduced traditional Indigenous stone tools. By researching pictures, articles and videos, students were able to take that information and use it to create an arrowhead from modelling clay.

Once the clay arrowheads were complete, they were then 3D scanned and 3D printed to produce a more solid example of a flint knapped arrowhead similar to those used by the First Peoples of Canada.

This project was a great example of real-world problem-solving using technology and research to accomplish a goal. In this case, that goal was to create an arrowhead for a lance shaft.
