The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. 

Marnie Wilson, Data Strategy Officer, shared a presentation on the Data Governance Charter which focuses on improving accuracy, maintaining security, and using data ethically. The presentation also covered AI where LRSD is working on enabling, not restricting, but always using responsibly, and reviewed the crucial importance of enacting data governance alongside AI. 

Marnie Wilson also provided a demonstration on Curricula Linked Assessment and Reporting Assistant (CLARA) an AI agent built within CoPilot.  

Information was shared about the second annual Learning with the Land event coming up on May 21 at The Forks.  

Trustees heard reports from those who attended the Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law in Education (CAPSLE) conference.  

Trustee Bjornson submitted a report on the Riel-Evate Endowment Fund Committee. 

The Board recorded correspondence as being received. 

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:13 p.m.
