​In Kindergarten room 405, we have studying Environmental Print as well as signs found in our neighbourhood.  We made a Photo story describing the sounds we found around our school after taking a walk around our school.  We learned about the important characteristics of signs and shared our knowledge with our Grade 6 learning buddies.  We read the story, "The Signmaker's Assistant" by Tedd Arnold and brainstormed a list of signs we thought our classroom would need.  We made several different rough copies of these signs.  We choose our favourite signs and created an official copy of it on the iPad using the Hello Crayon app.  We are looking forward to posting these signs around our room!
