The Louis Riel School Division is offering Special Language Credit Examinations on Monday, November 2^nd and Tuesday, November 3^rd at Dakota Collegiate, located at 661 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB. Students can earn up to four credits through the exam, one for each grade level. Students enrolled in high school programming do not have to pay for the exam; however, International Students must pay a $70 fee. If you are unsure whether you are considered an International Student, please contact Mr. Reaney on Teams. To receive an application form, please send Mr. Reaney a message on Teams. The application deadline is Friday, October 2^nd at 4:00 PM. A group message with the exam dates and times will be sent once the schedule is finalized.

The Super Smash Bros Club will be having their first meeting this Tuesday at Lunch in Room 142 - Mr Krahn’s Room. All skill levels welcome. Controllers are provided but bring your own if you have as we sometimes run out. Hope to see you there.

Glenlawn Chess Club is looking for players! All skill levels welcome! First meeting Thursday, Sept 24^th at Lunch in the Library. For more info contact Mr. Muntain or Mrs. Vandenbosch on Teams.

Just a reminder that the girls’ final soccer tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 5:15 PM on the turf field. Tryouts are still open to any girls who would like to participate. The boys’ final soccer tryout will be held Tuesday from 3:45–5:15 p.m. on the turf field.

Rocket league will be starting soon. Please fill out the form Rocket League – Fill out form to show interest. The first practice will take place on Wednesday Sept 23^rd, after school in Room 241. 

Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) will have its first meeting today in Room 140. All are welcome. Please see/talk/Teams/email Mr. Tyler Muntain or Mrs. Jen Harder for more information. 

Grade 9 and 10 Students - Please remember to have your parent/guardian complete the Transit Pass Consent Form through the Parent Portal before September 23rd. Use this link to complete the form. 

Student IDs will be ready in October! Please keep checking school announcements for updates on when and where you can pick up your ID. 

Calling all runners! The Cross-Country season is starting! ASAP! If you are interested in joining there will be a quick meeting in Room 2 (Basement) with Mr. Law on Tuesday. Our first meeting is September 22^nd.
