MAG Community Update - December 17, 2022
Every year we approach the holiday break in a rush of activities, and it is hard to believe how quickly the first four months of the school year have gone! It was great seeing so many members of our community this week at the winter concerts, which provided another reminder of just how incredible our students and school community really are. We hope that everyone is able to navigate the weather, flus and other challenges of this time of year in order to enjoy a wonderful holiday break. Thanks for your ongoing support and looking forward to the new year!
MAG Students Doing Great Things:
Cheer Board: Thanks to everyone’s generosity for our food and gift drive. We will be delivering a truckload of food donations to Cheer Board on Monday, as well as over $400 collected during our winter concerts! Cheer Board 2022.jpg
Outdoor Rink: The Leadership students and teachers are hoping to have the rink ready for use during the winter break. If the weather cooperates at the beginning of the week, a final round of flooding should allow it to be open for anyone who wants to use it over the holidays. We will be leaving out a couple shovels and hockey nets for anyone wanting to come by for a skate. We will still gratefully accept any donations of skates, in particular larger, adult sizes for our older students.
MAG Wear Delivery:
We are expecting delivery of MAG Wear orders to arrive at the school on Monday. As such, we should be able to send home clothing orders with students on Tuesday. Please contact the office if you were hoping to make other arrangements for pickup of a clothing order you had placed.
News from the PAC:
A reminder for those who placed orders that this Tuesday, December 20th is a fun lunch with Papa John’s Pizza.

- Thank you for your ongoing feedback about the LRSD 2023-24 Budget leading up to the public consultation meeting on February 28th.
- We continue to collect tabs from aluminum drink cans at the school office.
