Types of programs:

-Certificate Programs: run for 1 year or less, combine applied theory and practical skills required to work in a particular field; can be obtained through full-time day programs or RRC's School of Continuing Education
-Diploma Programs: last 2 or more years, combine classroom work with hands-on, applied learning; usually completed through full-time studies
-Joint Degree Programs: combine practical, hands-on learning at RRC with additional studies at the University level; you can earn both a diploma from RRC & a degree from U of M/U of W
-Baccalaureate Degrees: similar to 4 year University degrees
-Fast-Track Programs: allow you to earn an RRC certificate in as little as three months of full-time study
-Pre-Employment Programs: available for certain trades; great start for students wanting to take an Apprenticeship program
-Apprenticeship Programs: combine paid, on-the-job training with technical classroom-based studies at RRC so you can earn while you learn; leads to Journeyperson status from Apprenticeship Manitoba

Due to the popularity of RRC programs, space is limited. Apply 6-12 months in advance of your start date to maximize your chances of getting into the program (some programs have deadlines). You can go back to check on your application status after applying.
 
Proof of Immunizations - if you are applying for a program that requires completed immunizations, allow for 6-7 months prior to applying for the program to begin this process
