1) Volunteer Credit: Earn 1 volunteer credit while at Dakota. See your Student Services teacher about applying for this program. 

2) High School Appreticeship Program: Earn up to 8 credits while working a job in certain trades. See your Student Services teacher.

 3) Summer School and Distance Education: Obtain credits outside of Dakota. See your Student Services teacher for more info. 

4) Credit for Employment Program: Earn 2 credits for any paid work. Students must be 16 and complete a Life Works course at Dakota to be eligible. 

5) Language Credits: If you speak, read and write in another language other than French, you may be eligible for up to 4 credits. See your Student Services teacher for information on Language Credit Exams.
