February 2025 at Samuel Burland is I LOVE TO READ month! Throughout February, the staff have planned a variety of exciting activities and events to ignite and sustain the love for reading for our students.

Attached is a calendar of optional activities for families. These suggested activities use resources that are available to all students using their LRSD login and the username and password provided. SORA, Tumblebooks, and World Book Online are resources your child can use any time of the year!

Some important dates to remember:

February 7^th - Wear Words to School

February 14^th – Wear Red, White, & Pink for Valentine’s Day

February 21^st – Dress as your favourite book character for school!

February 28^th – Dress in your favourite PJs to read in.
