Reminder: Opening Conferences on Tuesday, September 8^th from 1:30pm to 6:00 pm and Wednesday, September 9^th from 9:00am to 12:00pm:

These will be 10-minute meetings with you, your child and your child’s homeroom teacher.

*Grade 8: If your child’s homeroom is Room 15, Mme Amrouche and Mme Shelby are co-teachers, please book the appointment with Mme Shelby Magnifico. Mme Amrouche will also be present at these meetings on the Tuesday, September 8 and available for student services appointments on Wednesday from 9:00 to 12:00.

URIS forms need to be filled out/updated: We ask that you please inform the office if there have been any new allergies or health concern and fill out the appropriate forms. These forms will be handed out during the opening conferences.

Allergies/Food Safety

Due to life-threatening nut allergies for some students, nut/peanut products cannot be brought to school. The school will take all reasonable measures to prevent any life-threatening allergies triggered by peanuts or nuts (cashew, pecan, walnut, hazelnut and almond).

École Henri-Bergeron strongly recommend that students at risk of anaphylaxis eat only food prepared at home or approved by the parent/guardian for consumption.

Limited number of Microwave ovens:

To ensure safety and an organized use of microwave ovens, they will be located in the kitchen (room 18/19) and only a limited number of them will be available to students. We therefore encourage students to bring hot food in a thermos container as much as possible.

Grade 7-8 Off-Site Lunch Permission

Grade 7-8 Lunch outside school ground with permission only starting on Monday, September 14. This will allow time to organize the collection of parent consent forms. These forms will be handed out at opening conferences. Here is an electronic copy as well:2026 - 2027 - Offsite lunch permission.pdf

Grades 4 to 6: Lunch at home

If you child will be leaving school for lunch at home every day, please inform the office by email at bergeron.office@lrsd.net.

-First Bell: 8:47am Second Bell: 8:57am Start of Classes: 9:00am

-Grades 4 to 6 Recess: 10:30-11:00am

-Grade 4 to 6 Lunch Recess: 12:30-1:00 Grades 4 to 6 Lunch: 1:00-1:25pm

-Grades 7-8 Lunch: 12:30-1:00 Grades 7-8 Lunch Recess: 1:00-1:25pm

-End of the school day: 3:30pm
