Bonjour École Henri-Bergeron Community,

This week was filled with meaningful and engaging activities such as our Truth and Reconciliation activities, our participation in the Divisional Cross-Country events, today’s Terry Fox Walk and many others.

Please review upcoming events and reminders:

Transit Passes handed to grade 7 and 8 students with permission

Transit passes were distributed to grade 7 and 8 students for whom we received permission. Please note that Grade 6 students must be 12 years of age to qualify. If permission was entered for them, passes will be distributed to them once they turn 12.

If your child has not received a pass yet and you would like to give permission, please follow the steps below. The new permissions entered will be reviewed weekly and these passes will be distributed on Fridays.

Prior to receiving a pass, parent/guardian/caregiver consent is required. For eligible students, a consent form is available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal in the LRSD Forms tab. The consent form will be available in the Portal beginning one month prior to a student’s 12th birthday. Information on how to create a Parent Portal account is available on the LRSD website, as is information on how to access Forms in the Portal. If you have any questions about the process or wish to provide verbal consent, please contact the school at bergeron.office@lrsd.net
